Lecture Series «Ein Haus...»

In the spring semester of 2026, the lecture series «A House...» will address different levels of transformation processes in the context of building culture. The focus will not be on individual buildings, but on the examination of structural and procedural changes. We are interested in the question of the extent to which specific forms of collaboration, architectural strategies for dealing with climatic challenges and constructive concepts can provide impetus for a change in building culture. The aim is not only to analyse completed transformations, but also to look at the current process of change and its potential impact on future developments.
«Ein Haus...» is a series of lectures in which buildings are presented in detail. This allows the different views of the architects to be recognised. The focal points of the presentations vary; they range from urban planning premises to constructive challenges, from historical references to social ambitions.
