Dialog

Well-known instrumental soloists present new and latest works in a short concert with commentary. A discussion moderated by saxophonist Marcus Weiss complements the musical part - turning the one-hour recitals into intensive encounters.
The programme for the 2022/23 season introduces three artists who are taking up or have recently taken up their new posts as lecturers at the Hochschule für Musik FHNW: Svetlana Maraš has been director of the Electronic Studio Basel since 2020. Sarah Maria Sun and Yaron Deutsch have started their professorships in the «Master of Contemporary Music Performance» this season. The programme of the fourth concert is currently still open. «Dialog» is a concert series by the Hochschule für Musik FHNW and sonic space basel, a platform for composition, performance, audio design and research, in collaboration with Gare du Nord.
