At the heart of «Europa hörbar machen» («Making Europe Audible») are interviews with extraordinary figures from contemporary history who talk about their personal experiences and their visions for a more peaceful, humane world. Together with Catherine Kontz and Henri Växby, the musicians of the Eunoia Trio are creating a performative evening that draws on material from the European Archive of Voices. The two composers focus in particular on their own origins: Luxembourg, Finland and Sweden. They explore the connection between language and cultural identity.
