Sonic Boom

«Sonic Boom» is Gare du Nord’s two-year artist-in-residence programme. Eight emerging artists and ensembles from the fields of contemporary and experimental music are given the space and support to further develop their artistic practice and realise their own projects. Accompanied by Gare du Nord’s in-house discourse format and mentoring programme, the series provides a platform for audiences, the wider music community and artists alike, creating space for exchange and creative encounters.

«Second thought» forms the supporting and supporting programme for «Sonic Boom». It includes individual coaching and one-to-one mentoring for artistic development as well as for project management issues.
