«Songs of Nyx» gives the goddess of the night a voice in six parts. Set against the backdrop of the starry sky and the earth, new works for voice and piano unfold, exploring themes of feminine power, love, prophecy and providence. They have emerged from the artistic friendship between Maja Bader and Leonhard Dering and the participating composers.
