Neues Werk

As part of the «Sonic Boom» artist-in-residence programme, eight artists and ensembles specialising in contemporary and experimental music are given the opportunity to realise their own concert formats, sound performances and music theatre productions. Over a period of two years, they will each design and present two evenings in which they can express their individual artistic approaches. Accompanied by an in-house discussion series and mentoring programme, the series provides a space for exchange between the audience, the scene and the artists.

For his second «Sonic Boom» concert, Mikolaj Rytowski is collaborating with Mark Fell. Together, they are developing a series of systematic studies based on Rytowski’s techniques and playing styles.
