Say goodbye to egg cartons and foam panels – room acoustics that really work
Do you record in your bedroom? Do you have a small home studio or do you make recordings in a rehearsal room? Even the best performance is wasted if the room doesn’t sound balanced. This workshop focuses on room acoustics – practical, easy to understand and without complicated formulas.
In this workshop, participants will learn how to get the most out of their space using the simplest of methods and a manageable budget. From affordable DIY solutions and effective absorption materials to simple measurements – you’ll be given tips that you can put into practice straight away.

Contents:
• An accessible introduction to the basics of room acoustics
• Practical tips specifically for home studios
• A comparison of absorber materials and types
• Absorption vs. diffusion – when and where they are useful
• Simple methods for measurements and room optimisation
• Focus on affordable, practical solutions

Afterwards, we’ll be serving light refreshments.
