Children and teenagers will present the music and choreography they have created themselves during the holiday workshop «Spooky Beats, Dancing Storms». Together with workshop leaders Marie Jeger and Tomek Kolczynski, the young participants learnt how to create rhythms on a computer and develop accompanying dance moves using their bodies.
The workshops offered by the «Bild & Ton» expert group provide insights into the connection between artistic and technological forms of expression. In courses that usually last one week, children and young people develop their own works – from the initial idea to the practical implementation. In the process, they acquire basic knowledge and skills in areas such as audio production, storytelling, sound design and digital editing.
The workshop is held in cooperation with K'Werk Bildschule bis 16, SfG Basel and the Basel Music School.
