Marie Delprat «Haboob»

«Haboob» is a live electronic performance based on the title track of Marie Delprat’s forthcoming EP «What remains after desire» (2026, -ous). Inspired by Ariana Reines’ poem of the same name, the piece combines synthetic voices, bass-driven electronics, minimal rhythms, and influences from Baroque music. Moving between pop songwriting and experimental electronic music, «Haboob» explores themes of vulnerability, transformation, and survival through a sound world that is both intimate and expansive.

Marie Delprat works in the field of contemporary music and is regularly involved in collaborative projects. Her contribution to the summer festival offers a focused insight into her current musical practice.
