ATTACCA – Closing festival: sonic space basel

An exercise in stillness, in the suspension of identification, in the absence of language. The title evokes something that appears familiar, something that resembles, yet never fully becomes identifiable. Recognition emerges through resemblance, but it remains unresolved; what seems close to being ultimately remains absent, unnamed.

As part of «ATTACCA – Closing festival: sonic space basel» at the FHNW Academy of Music in Basel, students from the fields of audio design, composition, open creation and contemporary music present their current artistic projects. The programme includes original compositions, performances, improvisations and works by contemporary composers. The concerts take place over several days in different formats and with different line-ups.
