«Nachtstrom» is electrifying sound research that begins at sunset at the earliest. Students at the FHNW Academy of Music organise concerts in the field of experimental electronic music and explore the limits of what can be heard. Live electronics meet acousmatic soundscapes, audiovisual performances meet improvisations and more.
In addition to works created as part of the curriculum, the Electronic Studio Basel also presents electroacoustic classics and concerts by international protagonists who share the stage with the students.
The Nachtstrom concerts are organised by the Electronic Studio Basel, which is part of the FHNW Academy of Music.
