The composition «DAS TROMMELHAUS» was commissioned by Klanghaus Toggenburg (artistic director Christian Zehnder) from Fritz Hauser. The piece celebrated its premiere during the opening celebrations in June 2025. The piece will then go on tour, with guest performances in Zug, Basel and other locations.
«DAS TROMMELHAUS» was developed on site with the percussion ensemble and refined collectively. A sound recording was also produced using special technology, which can be heard in the Klangdom (sound dome) of the Peter Roth Resonance Centre (next to the Klanghaus).
