The two Finnish musicians Pekka Kuusisto (violin) and Joonas Ahonen (piano) lead through the second Promenade of the season with selected works by the composers Hannah Kendall, Harrison Birtwistle, Mehmet Sanlikol, Sergei Prokofiev, Clarice Assad and Ellen Ried. They devote their attention to the 20th and 21st centuries with solo and duo performances on this Sunday morning.

Hannah Kendall (*1984): «Weroon Weroon» for violin (2022); Harrison Birtwistle (1934–2022): «Oockooing Bird» for piano (2000); Mehmet Sanlikol (*1974): «New work» for violin and piano; Sergei Prokofiew (1891−1953): «5 Melodies», for violin and piano (1922); Clarice Assad (*1978): «Symmetries», for violin and piano (2021); Ellen Reid: «Desiderium» for violin (2022); Sergei Prokofiew: «Sonata in f minor» for violin and piano (1938–1946)

The works by Hannah Kendall, Harrison Birtwistle, Mehmet Sanlikol, Clarice Assad and Ellen Reid are Swiss premieres.

Guests can now choose their own admission price between three different price levels.

Colourkey holders and children under 12 years will pay CHF 10.-

The season tickets include almost all events of the season 22/23.

Benefits of a season ticket: You can collect your ticket at the evening door and do not need a reservation. The seats for holders of season tickets will be blocked up to 15 minutes prior to showtime.
