Abenteuer - György Ligeti on the occasion of his 100th birthday

Camerata Variabile

The programme «Abenteuer» owes its existence to Ligeti's famous «Aventures». This celebration of musical-linguistic ventures is counterpointed by Othmar Schoeck's «Gaselen». The concert opens with chamber music of the heroic-adventurous kind: Johann Nepomuk Hummel is not the man of the moment in the 19th century for nothing.
