The fascinating personality of Hildegard von Bingen is the focus of this programme, which the Mondrian Ensemble will present together with the New York singer Daisy Press. The singer Daisy Press has been working extensively with Hildegard von Bingen's work for almost 20 years and has found her very own way of dealing with her music. Daisy Press is not a traditionalist and incorporates elements of North Indian (Hindustani) ragas into her unusual and extraordinary interpretations of the original medieval chants.
