Friendly Takeover 1 – Jeanne Larroutourou

In this musical performance for a selection of manipulated objects, everyday objects take on the role of both musical instruments and protagonists on stage. Their scenic and sonic potential is explored in dialogue with the evocative power of their functional construction. The audience is thus encouraged to explore their own relationship to the objects that surround them.
Before and after the performance «Objets trouvés #1» discover in the Bar du Nord a selection of treasures from the basement of the Gare du Nord. The prices of the flea market objects will be suggested, you will choose what you can spend and leave with the object of your choice!

Biography

Jeanne Larrouturou (*1991) is a percussionist and composer. She works on various chamber music projects and multidisciplinary collaborations in French- and German-speaking Switzerland. As a musician, she is active in Ensemble Batida, Ensemble Caravelle, Trio Stop, Drop and Roll, Concept Store Quartet, among others. She has worked with the Eklekto collective in Geneva, the Munich Biennale, soyuz 21 in Zurich, Compagnie IF in Lausanne and opus 333 in Paris, among others. She has also collaborated with composers such as Stefan Prins, Ondrej Adamek and Anda Kryeziu. → neo.mx3.ch/jeannelarrouturou
