«Come as you are!» is a surprise format bringing together experimental sounds, contemporary, improvised and instrumental music, and art. “Come as you are” is the motto – and it applies equally to our audience and our artists.
For this edition, Gare du Nord joins forces with JIMBA (Jam of Improvised Music in Basel) for an evening dedicated to improvised music. The programme includes a concert by Marina Tantanozi, Yanik Soland and Mehmet Ali Simayli, followed by an open jam session. The session consists of several short sets in which everyone who feels bold enough to contribute musically is welcome to join – whether with an instrument or their voice.
