Arriving late and having to leave straight away. Is there enough time to read the signs? Only the mountain is always there. All the time. In slow motion. In fast motion. Fast. Faster. Change.

For her Master’s project, Julia Maria Imhoof focuses on the mountain. It becomes a mirror of a concept of time that takes shape through perceived changes. Through her own compositions, arrangements of well-known works and the use of various instruments and electronic media, she traces the intensity of change in the mountain world. Musically, choreographically and through installation art.
