With «Third Space», the Biel-based Ensemble Bruit presents a new programme in the spirit of Anthony Braxton’s Creative Music. In it composition, improvisation and interpretation meet on equal terms and are constantly renegotiated through their interplay. Alongside new works by the composers Cathy van Eck and Patricia Bosshard, the programme features a previously unreleased superimposition of two compositions by Braxton, as well as Luc Ferrari’s rarely performed «Tautologos III».
