Parallel to Art Basel, Gare du Nord is presenting «Sounds Nice» for the first time. A colourful mix of performances, installations and concerts will take place in the concert hall and the former restaurant. The whole thing will be garnished with DJ sets and a party.
On Wednesday, the «Come As You Are!» format invites you to rethink the stage together - in an open, experimental and participatory way.
Come As You Are!
«Come as you are!» is a surprise format blending experimental sounds, improvised analog and electronic music, and performance. The motto applies to the audience just as much as the artists.
The evening begins with music by Lara Alarcón, Victor Barceló and Ignat Khlobystin. Then it’s time for an open stage: anyone brave enough with an instrument or performance idea is welcome to join in. New collectives are formed live on the spot – the stage is open for wild improvisation and spontaneous performances. The night wraps up with DJ sets.
