Friendly Takeover 8 – Andreas Eduardo Frank

Andreas Eduardo Frank & reConvert «Once I saw someone floating»

Who has never dreamed of flying.
Andreas Eduardo Frank and reConvert (Roberto Maqueda and Mikolaj Rytowski) dedicate this evening to the magical feeling of floating and they take Gare du Nord on a transcendent journey.
The goal is to let go and drift in the ether of sounds played on flying instruments. Crazy and out of this world is the approach and so sounds the music.
A multimedia performance, of sound and light, played on simple wood and metal bodies. On the other hand, the performers use highly technical devices to make them vibrate.
The virtuoso interplay of complex and intense vibrations, light and text creates a weightlessness that pulls the floor out from under the feet of the audience.
The evening ends with a euphoric DJ set by flutist and electronic musician Tatiana Timonina.

«Once I saw someone floating»

Did you ever hover above ground
Did you ever float on vibrant sound
Did you ever feel the space
Between toes and floor
Moving without a body
Feeling no resistance anymore
